KIDS Walter Payton is a dynamic, youth-led chapter of the International Children’s Advisory Network (iCAN), dedicated to empowering students to actively participate in shaping pediatric healthcare. Our chapter brings together passionate young people who are eager to learn, advocate, and innovate in the medical field. Through a combination of educational workshops, hands-on activities, and community service projects, we provide members with unique opportunities to explore healthcare careers, contribute to research, and support patients in meaningful ways. We collaborate closely with medical professionals, researchers, and hospitals to ensure that youth perspectives are included in conversations about patient care and treatment. More than just a club, KIDS Walter Payton is a movement—one that believes that children and teens are powerful agents of change who can improve healthcare systems locally and globally. Whether through organizing care packages for young patients, participating in international summits, or engaging in advocacy work, our members are committed to making healthcare more compassionate, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of young people.
